Antique Silver Cross Prams For Sale

spring allows our guests
re-breathe air
s scorch our strong repulsive smell
blows, so that pollute the air
Voles draw cars fast
ditch everything to
Smell, a perfume-flag!
Covered stink!
soon brings the season to me!

(after free Mörike)

It is springtime in the land of the islanders. Spring means tourists, tourists mean more customers and more Customers automatically means a dramatic increase in voles, skunks (class I and class II) and plain rude people.

Let's go even a little one on the individual species.

voles. As the name suggests, burrowing voles around you. Thoroughly and clearly visible results. Everything was properly before the arrival of the vole on the shelf or lay, is thrown into turmoil after completely. Sometimes from the actual location removed and deposited elsewhere. And no, it applies not only to Sonderangebotsgrabbelkiste, when I am already annoying as it is dug - dadrin is not that from the beginning of everything mixed up, this is quite organized, and really it would not be difficult, because the stuff out again, about to do, where you have hergenommen them. But instead, the then threw achtungslos there because ne Grab Box is anyways ...
Anyway, the store itself that's much more annoying. Because we find schonmal a book that was thrown into a cuddly toy shelf - and I mean thrown. Or the stuffed animals are brutally torn completely off the shelf and stuffed items, just as insensitive. If, then, what falls out is Vole more than just one, and looks only very surreptitiously ausm back corner of the eye.

But ok, excited enough about the voles, but one can not help it. Especially not if their children as parents set an example.

Let us therefore one of the skunks. Skunks can be divided into two groups. Definitely worse, the welding Stinker. I know it will be warmer and you sweat more, and some people come directly from the physically demanding job by us. Which may then also like to smell musty, it does not interfere large and does not smell very much. But there are also completely different caliber. Completely unkempt man whose hair is so oily that I could spend a long winter heating up, do not have the pretty black borders under the nails, and the overall appearance is still up to the aroma rounded, they wander around with it. Imagine a Hochleistugssportler of one week's continuous same clothes on and no time to shower. I guess the smell would be less intrusive than some skunk instance, I have encountered.
one has such a creature before him, and it must consult, if appropriate, helps only nose and through!
After the visitation of a sweat, one is a stinker directly glad to Category II, the perfume stinker, can be seen. These then act similarly to the sale room as an air freshener or Lufterfrischerspray. Without smell, which is to distribute it, but one can also go to the perfume Stinker sinuses. Less is more, ladies. It does not smell better if you place a drop of the same uses a Literchen it. not honest. And should therefore benefit from the excessive perfume stir that it has itself no longer smells, then: a change helps. Now and then a different scent, and it is not itself immune.

So much for the animals. Missing only the shameless people.
was cleaned as in winter, there was already a taste (or rather aftermath of last summer?) As I switch between heating and wall tissues was used.
The case was however already topped the previous season.
It was a lot going on in the store, much has been dug.
So I turned round once a cleanup.
I went along with the pocket books, admitted a few scattered examples aside, and had in the corner, push in the pocket book shelves on the wall with the hardcovers sudden stop.
There lay a little heap on the carpet.
A small, brown, stinking heap.
I resisted the temptation to check the temperature, and was simply assumed that it had to be pretty fresh. Unfortunately, it
was not only fresh, but soft.
not a good combination with the carpet. Man
rid of it could indeed, but still had to scrub quite a bit (made my colleague)
I wonder how a dog owner with a dog on a leash, can not remember how the dog poops in the store. Also, I wonder how one can be so bold, then beat it on easy (höhöhö) to say without at least modest. I also now understand why some shop owners are on it, that dogs must stay outside ...

After the season has already started so with a bang, I'm curious to see how the tourists do the beat it: D

die_mephista @ 2010-03-07T20: 22:00

So, this day I had finally time for me alone and was finally able to clean up and cleaning times and at least give me a short introduction, which is currently pending.

Before I fall into this panic / whining (my current mood alternates between "run in circles screaming panic" and "roll like a small Hasi" * g *), positive things.

- Over Easter we went to .... PARIS: D Together with the Filosofem and (Note) my parents. Said more than "We are all simultaneously in Paris and at the same hotel and make something together" is planned, so not a real family vacation.
- Then I have claimed just one Ritter Sport marzipan board and am excited to see what comes out there. Have extra written that I'm vegan, I do not get a ton Milchschoki (which I would then stop away);)
- The Filosofenwohnung is always comfortable and fits really well MMN to him. I'm happy for him that he now has such a comfortable stay and hope he does not have to move again to Ref.

So, then I will dedicate my time again expose. Gnaha, I have the top word count limit already reached, but should be detailed in certain places.

Brownie Vest Placement

Spring books 2009 (part three - October to December)

So, the last part.

78th October 2009 The Tourist (Olen Steinhauer)

Milo Weaver is a family man and business go. His wife and daughter have no idea who he really is. Years ago, he has a so-called "tourist" worked for the CIA. But when he was seriously wounded in an operation, he got out first, and sat down to rest half.
But the past can not be shaken off so easily, and Milo learns that the killer Benjamin Harris alias "Tiger" is rumtreibt nearby. Him had he tried to grab for years without success. He feels at this time, actually, only to learn that the tiger has deliberately by Weaver can be found. Just before the killer commits suicide with a cyanide capsule, he tells Milo that he has also worked as a tourist, but of its clients with a deadly disease has infected.
already suspected of the murder of Tiger, because Milos fingerprints are found in his face, charged to him soon after the death of even one of his colleagues (with whom he was friends with) to.
Milo dives, and tries to always have the CIA and other intelligence agencies in the neck to figure out what's going on, and who else is in on it. He can trust anyone, and to protect his family will also prove difficult.

very exciting spy thriller, not totally implausible acting Bond scenarios. The job of the agents does not come over here, like a permanent party, but as something dangerous and gnawing on the nerves. Indeed, some agents that are too long on the road as a tourist, drug problems, take amphetamines to stay awake too good, without realizing that they, ultimately, the only inattentive, etc. I've actually never read a spy thriller. Now and then maybe a thriller or a thriller with pathologists in the lead role, etc. But even that rare. Can say, for people who want to do that once the genre, this is the right book ^ ^

79th The storm kings - Glutsand (Kai Meyer)

The third part of the storm king Trilogy. I had real fear that after the first two parts were just good, might give the third but then in terms of quality. Fortunately, however, was not the case. Loose threads from the previous parts can be resumed, and so well connected, like the flying carpets, pull on which our hero through the area.
Tarik Sabatea and are on their way to Skarabapur, the city should be stored where the genies his third wish. Accompanied by night, the two still face and ifranji and Khalis, the mitschleift still his daughter and Mary brought in honey and Almarik to protect him it has. As leaders they have the ivory horse at their head. Meanwhile, June's
fighting in Baghdad against the approaching Dschinnheere and tries to free some of the crazed man under normal slave at heart. Finally, it is
a truly furious finale in all places. The fighters give everything again, it flows a lot of blood, we get it in some respects to do with zombies (just think Narbennarr) to learn what it has actually Jibril up.
The end is so brutal and dirty, the protagonists suffer again very much and the group in Skarabapur go at each other's throats to each of the deter other to be able to claim the third wish for themselves, while June, before Baghdad still happy with a few Dschinnkönigen. I must say
after I had through the book, I was almost sad that it was over. I think I can safely read the trilogy more often. Because there are certainly some that we quickly forget, and the second read more noticed.

80th The Miraculous Journey of the World Jonathan Blum (Rainer M. Schröder)

As Schroeder has said most youth for historical adventure novels known, and that the more one is it here. The book has me once borrowed a classmate in high school, and I did not until last year to read it (they wanted it on demand but have not returned, so has this been clear;))
1850s, Jonathan Blum and his family is evicted from his home because he is of Jewish origin. In Germany, the family in with relatives. Jonathan may make with his uncle a lesson, but really he is not satisfied. Together with a friend, he landed a spot on the Liberty, a ship for emigrants, which is sailing to America. His friend survived the crossing, but Jonathan learns a Jewish family who helps him. Although Jonathan denies his religion, befriends the family man with him, and his children like Jonathan you. Arrived in America, Jonathan must first work off his debt, which cost him years and it still does not go much further. But he manages to be raised, and followed by more and more adventure. He becomes the agent of one unscrupulous con artist draws with a trek, which also follows the family of his friends over a long distance and over mountains, where they are stuck in the first winter, in part, the country where you can still opportunities to own land and has a farm. He makes friends with a slave and falls in love with the daughter of the Jewish family friends. He, together with his slave friend, whom he has freed, deported to a war ship, and sailed through the world without too great, the opportunity to declare his love where he is (actually, he wanted to marry her) He goes gold mine and what not all. So
on the order of these experiences I am now not entirely clear, but the story is written very exciting and Jonathan is a really interesting character who struggles with his faith (after the expulsion) The other Figures are worked out very nicely.

November 2009

81st The water Weber (Kai Meyer)

and another trilogy conclusion of Meyer. Again, a great last part.
Jolly and Munk are deep under the sea and are on their way to the maelstrom, while defending Walker, Soledad and Co with others Aelenium to the two tadpoles enough time to its mission to provide meet. While top
be repelled from the air wave after wave of new attacker has to be weakened and the contestants more and more, get Jolly and Munk at the bottom of the sea bed at risk. A strange girl joins them and Munk seems to be on the side of the Maelstrom provide.
super exciting, and although the book is almost a single showdown in fact, it gets boring at any time. The battle that rages on top of and in the air is described super, as do people feel right. And under the water can be puzzled about who may now be trusted and who not - find this out is not so simple. Also on the Acherus, the Lord of the Gnome and the maelstrom itself is still really learn much. And it really fits it all together.
too, is a trilogy, which I would read again ^ ^

82nd Glister (John Burnside)

Glister is a book in which I have myself after I read it, just do not know what to make of it. I can not decide if I liked it or not. Come with me not so often. For content, I will not actually write something. Read on here but if interested just follow these reviews.

83 . Traces - Death Sagittarius (Malcolm Rose)

United Kingdom in the future. Luke Harding, sixteen years old, has just recently been completed as the examination to the Forensic investigators successfully than he already gets the first case on the table. A classmate was shot with a bow and arrow. Together with his helpers Malc he sets about to investigate the matter. But it does not stop with one dead. Other victims followed, and Luke must learn to deal with the fact that he himself stands as the main suspect. Exciting
written thriller with sci-fi elements. The society in which the story takes place, is explained only as passing. Respectively. not explained, but you can get hold of discussions and negotiations with how it all has to imagine about. Thus, children over 5 years to give the authorities who specialize in school very early to one area, and may not choose their marriage partners themselves, but get an allocation that best fits one. Sun Luke has no real chance of being brought together with his flock, as they studied music.

84th Traces - Ricochet (Malcolm Rose)

The second part of the series. Luke has now been brought to London - a region in which investigators are always needed, since it is one of the most deprived places in Britain. The city is already overgrown in part again with trees and other plants, so you also can never get a cab. For which there is simply no way through. So it is not surprising that one better on the road in the case where you do not want to be attacked.
Luke is called after a doctor was shot. He also finds out that a white boy was shot. He soon finds out that a cult might lie behind it, which finds that physicians do not may intervene, and have something against whites because they supposedly have a white skin, because God has marked them as sinners. (Yes, whites are a minority in the future - either albino, or have a different genetic disorder before I knew it, I found the blurb a bit strange: D.)
Luke infiltrates into the sect and himself in danger.
things remain just as exciting as the first part, and the humor is not too short. As Malc can think only as a machine perfectly logical, there are so many strange dialogue ^ ^
A third part is already published in German (serial murders, all women, all of Emily Wonder mean to be killed) and the fourth (offender profile) coming out in July. Altogether there are six volumes in English.

85th Once (Morris Gleitzman)

Felix is nine years old and has lived for over three years in a Catholic orphanage somewhere in the mountains. He is neither Catholic nor an orphan. His parents put him in the orphanage, so he is well cared for while they take care of the bookstore, with which they have some problems. That they have this Prpbleme because they are Jews, Felix does not understand.
One day when soldiers show up in an orphanage, and burn books, Felix makes his way to warn his parents before them. Only when he picks up along the way the little girl Zelda, whose family was brutally murdered by the soldiers, he slowly begins to understand what's going on. And how dangerous it is for him and Zelda and all other Jews so.
A very good book. The boy in the striped pajamas, I did not read, after what I've heard of it, but it must be managed similarly. You mean, who liked that will also be one like it. At first, it is sometimes almost painful to To read how little understood the boy. That he is but also protects its naivete comes, a little later over good. What it all will be experiencing some really brutal, that everything is described from his perspective helps, as even. The writing style has also promised me, and the end is not really a Happy Ending, and not really an end, but it was satisfactory.
is a second part already, only the German translation is still pending (English title of the sequel "Then")

86th Inkheart (Cornelia Funke)
87th Inkspell (Cornelia Funke)
88th Inkdeath (Cornelia Funke)

After I had seen about a year before the movie, so I got back interested in reading it, and then in November I've finally made (on vacation you have just come enough time to get a daily Book runterzuschlingen)
The first part, I had read once before, and after that I did not really have the desire to turn over the sequels. Not that the first part would be bad. The end is only complete enough that it would particularly urge to read on, and the story is indeed exciting, but the big kick was there, too. That was then going on only in part two. I'm glad I've overcome to the still to begin, I would have really missed something.
In Inkheart, we learn many characters know first, in Inkspell and Inkdeath come some more about what the story there, but does not slow as much as the first part. But
to content. In Inkheart, we learn first to know Mo and his daughter Meggie. Mo is a bookbinder, and restored antiques etc. Meggie's mother disappeared, and Meggie loves books. In the course of history nor is Elinor, a grumpy-celled relatives and lover of books to dust and finger, a very strange guy. How do we know Mo has it along with some really bad guys from a book - read out - Inkheart where then Resa, Meggie's mother, wife and Mos is apparently disappeared. Since Capricorn, the villain wants to use magic tongue Mo, to get out read more things from books, it is damn dangerous for the whole family, and dust mixed with a rich, strong fingers. Sometimes he stands on this, sometimes on one side, and why he is willing to tell Mo and Meggie, is in the book, unfortunately not really made clear. That he does not like Mon particularly because this article does not want him back, is still clear, but the rest is revealed only really in the succeeding volumes. In all this mess can
Capricorn still possible, all issues of Inkheart raise and destroy, so he has the only Exemplat. Our heroes come up with the ingenious idea, but seek times the authors of the story, and to inquire whether he might still have a copy, it is drawn Fenoglio, the author also with.
The finish is quite nice, some people disappear into a book, and all are reasonably secure.
is the second part but it really begins. First, we are still in our world, but over time, some voluntary, some forced to gather all the ink in the world where the adventure starts in earnest. You meet old friends, as Fenoglio notes that there is in this medieval world, the one or the other villain, and in some cases that are under it, are out for revenge, and experience with how to Fenoglio's story then virtually self-development. The living beings that exist in the fantasy world so, really great. Glass men who were mentioned in the first part are described in more detail now, and you learn but few know well. Also Dustfinger you get to know better, and Meggie is casually grown.
When times apart from the first part, which has a little trouble (sorry, it is perhaps more often, that someone successful sequels do not read) a very successful trilogy with a truly complex history, and a nice epilogue. I have not looked back to read it (and part two and three of content in my mind totally mixed because they relate so strongly)

89th December 2009 Fletcher Moon - private investigator had (Eoin Colfer)

So far I read by Eoin Colfer only the first two Artemis Fowl books. So I was with his writing style a little familiar, and knew what I get involved.
Fletcher Moon is also at least as funny as Artemis Fowl, but without the fantasy. Instead, we are dealing with a children's thriller elements with Buddy to do its best. Fletcher Moon is a student and is very interested in police and detective work. Under the name of his father, he has even taken part in a correspondence course, and passed a recognized examination, which has given him his own brand investigators. Of course he would have to be not a minor, but it is still very proud of it. At school he is thanks to the brand as investigators - some even as a total dork. His first paid case can not wait too long in coming, but instead to release it quickly, Fletcher is caught in a vortex of crime, fraud and a large mysterious organization that is behind some misdeeds. Right in the middle Fletcher must recognize that even the Sharkeyclan consists not only of criminals, and makes common cause with Red Sharkey, who obtained him from police custody after Fletcher himself something is attached.
A really funny book that has everything you expect from a thriller for adults. Only just implemented for children, and that's great.

90th Tower high and miles wide (Tonke Dragt)

between the children's books, my step-siblings discovered. I never knew until now that Tonke Dragt and Sci-Fi writes. And that the story was invented in the 60s, is also difficult.
It's about Edu, space explorers, is the second time stationed on Venus. The earth is overpopulated completely, and so long are also people resettled into space. Natural forests or have been on earth only in the last few reserves, which is why most people do with it too much you can not. Edu other hand loves nature, and the lush, exotic woods on Venus it to draw. Of course it is forbidden him to go in there, sometimes quite apart from the fact that he may not even come close to them. The People live on Venus in a giant dome in which they wish to protect the climate etc. Outside their territory, they have established security robot, which must be replaced regularly. Artificial materials and metals are destroyed by the nature of Venus quite fast. One day during a reconnaissance flight Edu flies too close on purpose go to the forest, its engine broke it and crashes. Dressed in a suit he leaves the aircraft, only to find that even the suit is strongly attacked by a fungus attack of all inorganic substances seems. But sterng according to the rules he can not take off the suit. When he is already half-unconscious, he is pulled out, the expert had not injured in the forest, where he was picked up.
Soon he may more often in the forest to do research there. Here, he meets some day to the original inhabitants of Venus. They call themselves Afroini, Venus is at Afroi them, and they are predisposed telepathically. In some people, which provides for anxiety, but they can come to terms with the time after all that, and more and more people may go into the forest.
Really well written, exciting and entertaining and imaginative. The feelings of all the protagonists, Anxiety is especially strangers and Conservation received particular attention.

91st Tiger eyes (Tonke Dragt)

continuation of tower high and miles wide. Edu and a seienr colleagues are sent to earth to there a little to report from Venus. Telepathy but should only conceal yet. Meanwhile on Earth: an artist who was once stationed on Venus as a researcher, and was friends with Edu, works in a center where young people must be conspicuously become creative. Gradually, he realizes that he is predisposed telepathically, which of course throws him totally off track. Also one of his students - which is particularly rebellious - seems to have that talent. Together with Edu and company try to telepaths and their allies to find a way, the whole truth about Venus to tell, but at the same time to not reveal their own abilities, for fear of the reaction of the other .
an equally exciting sequel, which is written quite differently. By changing not only the main character but also of the scene we get a different perspective on the situation of the Earth and its government. Successful:)

92nd Dream hour for dormice (Janos)

A very short, with many pictures provided children's book that I loved as a child.
Piezke Popov and live together. Popov, a person who can fly, Piezke, a dormouse, which will not go to school and would rather sleep. Popov as it finally grinds to school, Piezke is caught by a hawk, and Popov has to save him. Other predators meddle Plüm Pelzki promises with his Super Eight spin machine is also very bad, and finally preparing the hunter an end to everything, by shooting down the plane. Piezke falls into a Pond where Popov can save in last. At home watching
Piezke at last, and tells what he has dreamed of the beautiful school, because she had a dream hour: D

93rd Chronicler of the Winds (Henning Mankell)

The baker José works for a slightly crazy old lady who runs a theater next to the bakery. In the theater one night by José the shot street boys Nelio. This has a particular reputation in the area, but no one ever dared to beat him. Nelio not want to the hospital, instead he asks José to take him to the roof. There
Nelio told him the story of his life, until the moment when he is shot.
José's job is to listen to him, and to some extent to take care of him, and get rid of the body after his death. Then for José's nothing like before.
a beautiful book. My stepmother had it as even as a loan, and I immediately recommended. And the absolutely rightly. The situation of street children here is as impressive as described exciting, while the constantly changing staked government is made more ridiculous. The horror of war is not too short, and some point is described as intense, that one may already be bad. Nevertheless, I would read it again.

94th The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Douglas Adams)
95th The Restaurant at the End of the Universe (Douglas Adams) 96th
Life, the Universe and Everything (Douglas Adams) 97th
So long and thanks for all the fish (Douglas Adams) 98th
Young Zaphod Plays It Safe (Douglas Adams) 99th
Mostly Harmless (Douglas Adams)

The content should actually somewhat be known. Still, I'm happy because once again a bit rumzureiten on it;)
Arthur Dent is a normal person. Brit. His normal life is thrown off the track one morning when a construction crew is coming to tear down his house to make room for a bypass. But it gets even more out of control when his friend Ford drags him to a bar to him proclaiming that the earth will soon belong to the past. Ford himself is not a man but is stranded on Earth just as he meant to do research for a galactic guide there. As
Spaceships approach the earth, and the bureaucratic Vogon proclaim to destroy the earth now, to make way for a bypass: D Arthur Ford takes on board one of the vessels. But he has an electronic thumb, can hitchhike with the fine. After some trials and tribulations land Arthur, Ford, Zaphod and Trillian (savior of our two main heroes) on Magrathea, a planet, are designed on the planet. As they also there is too much - Arthur's brain to be sektiert to get to the ultimate question to answer - they go into the restaurant at the end of the universe ...
further than I am the first volume in the first few times I've read it, never came. Each time I inserted a break in between, and which was so long that I finally had to start from scratch. But this time I've read everything in one go. And I know I do that more often required, because there are hell of a lot that I did not already know. And so many great quotes that I have to paint the next reading: D
Where it ever so Arthur verschlägt everything, and as the earth but is subject repeatedly, I think that's great. As the group of spinners and over again in the most impossible can save situations as well. Arthur at the end that even has a daughter, and that only because he earned by sperm donation money to travel through the area can
XD Very nice I find in these books also constantly inserted quotes from the Guide, and the digressions, if one has to experience once again more details to a confusing situation. For example, the infinite Wowbagger prolonged and Misdemeanors.
All in all I think the trilogy that is unbeatable awesome, and the new part that Eoin Colfer has written, I will also eventually need to read. Colfer I trust also means to make the tone well, the dry humor he has in any case definitely it.

100th My life as a search engine (Horst Evers)

My stepfather loves Horst Evers' anecdotes, and I feel no different. At Christmas, I gave him so a recent book by Evers, and even then just read: D
The stories are told Evers always realistic, but exaggerated, with a touch of Bizarrilität. You can read some of it here: www.salbader.de

Alcohol, Whipple Surgery

books 2009 (part two - July to September)

And on we go with the list. If yes and only 47 books, which I must write down: D

the Rest's then probably tomorrow

54th July 2009 Green Witch (Susan Cooper)

Part Three of "The Dark Is Rising" series. Here it goes again to Cornwall. Simon, Jane and Barney are there again, Uncle Merri are also the honor of the Grail, in the "comes before the flood" was found, was stolen by the workers of darkness from the museum, and Will Stanton, the readers from "Winter Solstice" already knows, is published with the three children. These are his first not very enthusiastic. Finally, they to wage a war against the darkness, and an outsider interfere since only - that he is a much more important part of this war, but they get to soon enough;)
as it may : the forces of light believe that the darkness stole the grail, to translate the obscure but very important message that is carved directly on it. For this you need a script that has yet to be discovered. For the guys it's on thieves hunting and fighting some of the darkness her helpers high, and is sometimes dangerous. Jane helps along the way, produce the eponymous Green Witch, which is traditionally built by women at night, only to be thrown into the water. Every woman and every girl can wish for anything at the time and Jane, who in this book is pretty central to the story, of course makes it just right ^ ^
Who wants to read a brief summary of the content in rhyme , click the following link that leads to a brilliant review on amazon.com: www.amazon.com/review/R2IJW5BMZBR7BX/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm

55th The Grey King (Susan Cooper)

The fourth installment of the series. Will be following hepatitis disease sent for recovery on a farm in Wales. Of course he has not long since his rest, and the darkness has to be thwarted again. The prophecy that had been on the Grail, he has forgotten during the illness, but he finds on his walks slowly back the memories, and begins to understand, too, as the text is meant.
In the search after a golden harp that he must play in order to arouse the sleeper under the hill, it helps Bran, an albino boy with golden eyes, turn his dog Cafall - is at least as extraordinary as himself - for dabeihat support.

56. The forces of light (Susan Cooper)

Fifth and final part of the series. It will be merged again all the important people and their families to play their role in the fight against darkness. This time, a crystal sword must be found to dwell on it and with the other power objects the darkness.
course there are happy endings, but many storyline was not at all to end so easily satisfied, not just because everything was just black or white.
The books by Susan Cooper I first read in middle school when a friend she had loaned me. Meanwhile, I have the whole series even in the possession, because I still knew that I liked it very much, and wanted to read again. Also about 10 years later I can say that my story is still very well liked. Children or youth fantasy I like anyway, and Cooper brings in their work and a lot of myths and legends that exist in our world, which makes things even intererssanter. That all still playing in Cornwall and Wales were from me again plus points, but because it often happens that one simply invents a complete fantasy world that takes an unspecified place or that something pullers locations are used; )

57th The night of dreams caught (Antonia Michaelis)

Fantasy old child for ten to twelve years readers. Terrific.
The two main points are the name I can: D
But a closer look: Frederic is sent to a new school where the pupils behave very strangely. All behave like robots in its class to learn, hardworking, and have no sense of imagination. This shows, for example, in the images that manufactured in art class. The all look identical. Only one out of line. Änna, a Girl from the back row seems to have retained some humanity. makes friends with her, Frederic to be a little too.
So far so good. But the fantasy part is yet to come. One day Frederic help of a very old woman in his house, and gets rewarded with vitamin A drops. After he has taken, he sees at once much better. It provides, what's wrong with other people. He discovered that Ännas is incurable limp so that they have a huge iron ball for fear it drags behind. The Latin teacher turns out to be bubbling carp. A particularly ambitious and formidable classmate has small mouths biting their fingers. And over the heart of his father a large festering wound that results from the death of the mother by a bicycle accident.
That is it all right and good, but it gets even better. Frederic sees at night, as director Bruhns - the man with the unnaturally dark shadow - pulls together a machine with two teachers in the city. Ironically, before Ännas room they stop and run hoses through her window. What is collected in the machine, it can be seen from the discussions of the offenders should be locked up in an old mill.
with some difficulty - Änna is indeed first and unimaginative as their classmates, and can not do much with Frederic - they find out what is going on with the whole thing is about, and save the day;)

I must say, I have indeed after the Read the blurbs meant that it could be a good book, but my expectations were exceeded total. The writing style is great, the story great, and cliché traps are skillfully navigated. The characters have become great. It may be the good, the bad one is afraid or has fun, not to like.
there anyway many fantasy readers who like children's books swallow. For people who do not normally that would be worth a try:)

58th Skulduggery Pleasant 02: Skulduggery (Derek Landy)

second part of the series. A third is already on the shelf, but is read by me only if part is available four, since they are related both parts.
But short on content: Skulduggery and Stephanie aka Valkyrie balance are saving more to go around the world. This time Baron Vengeous escapes his captivity, and attacked it, back the Groteskerium. A being that different from many malicious Creatures has been compiled, and practically can not be killed. This is to call for the Baron the faceless to obtain with the help of world domination. Skulduggery and Valkyrie are supported by China Sorrows and Tanith Low, two very different women with different talents yet.
ERSN As in part, the story is more in the background, and the action speaks for itself. As befits a buddy comedy, there are a lot of cool sayings, great fights and one or the other situation where you first only "wtf?" May think they then up again to explain from the perspective of other characters reads: D
As mentioned, reads like a movie, and I really would not mind the film actually even seen. Such a book is perfect for this. The sayings are already present in the book, but has no character to be bent. And the plot is not too complex, so that you are not behind it must be annoying that important elements were omitted.

59th The circle of the demon (Sarah Rees Brennan)

Nick and his big brother Alan is on the run, since they can think. The Magic Circle, together with leaders of the Obsidian Black Arthur is after them, as they believe because of an amulet that belonged to her mother.
Since the two unequal brothers have a reputation to gain an understanding of magic, one evening, Jamie and his sister standing Mae before their door and ask for help. Jamie was drawn by a demon. The character will change with time. First you can remove it yet, then it is permanent, and finally one is doomed. When Jamie is the second stage has arrived, and Alan, who passes on his protective amulet on Mae, even marked. Nevertheless, He agrees to take on Jamie's second stage so that its time may be removed. Nick is not enthusiastic about the whole thing, and nothing can be done with the siblings, but to help Alan he would do everything. So they go together to the fair of goblins in order to summon a demon that will help them.
A very good start to a hopefully qualitatively consistent (or even enhancing) trilogy. Content, I've frequently felt reminiscent of Supernatural, but thanks to Jamie and Mae was not then concentrated too much on the two main characters. In any case the book is thoroughly knitted exciting, and There are some phrases that are understandable, but not necessarily predictable.
For Supernatural Fans highly recommended, but also those who like to read fantasy and have nothing against demons;)

60th Bloodsucking Fiends (Christopher Moore)

Tommy Flood, his character from the land of innocence and unknown writer with no document, but adding, pulls into the city and works the night shift of the local supermarket. He shares a tiny apartment with five Chinese who want to marry him (to legality and such). And as if his life with the Chinese and his supermarket employees that are generally only referred to "the animals" not hard enough, he meets also on Jody. Jody looks stunning on and throws himself totally ran to him. The problem in fact: Jody is a vampire. Since she is asleep during the day - and it does very, very firmly, as the sun rises they can wake up practically everything, is it as dead) - it needs a helper, for them all done, what can be done only during the day. Tommy has since not mind, he finally becomes the Chinese go, and he has a hot girlfriend. Just stupid, that Jody from the Vampire pursues created them. Usually brings to his victims, but sometimes he can be one or the other are transformed, to then have fun trying to watch the new vampire, and watch how long he manages. Stupid also, that the vampire, victims who were killed in total Auslutschung disintegrate into dust, it does not take himself, leaving a pile of corpses that are always around in Tommy's found what he so two policemen rushes to the neck. (Anyone who has read the Dirty Job by Moore is familiar with long teeth again in some people. Among other things, said just Police officers, but also the Emperor and his followers again from the 61st batch)

Love at First Bite (Christopher Moore)

The direct sequel to "Bloodsucking Fiends" and just as well. Tommy has now made himself a vampire. All in all, he has nothing against the immortal. And the sex is almost unbelievable, but unfortunately the two have not thought of that with the transformation of Tommy also no longer there, the day can provide for their welfare. And then, of course, appears again to Elijah, the ancient vampire who still wants Tommy to the leather. And because that is not enough fed up are also the two cops back to the party. Only the animals can still leave Tommy, which prove to be real buddy. Just stupid that some of them soon prove a real dead miners after Elijah is going more and more aggressive.
So it is again haywire. But at least Tommy and Jody find a helper who is enthusiastic to the point. Abby Normal, a fact even Gruftiemädel would like to become a vampire. And it was only to surpass her friend Darquewillow Elventhing that the book of death has to get their hands (to the story of the death then the more sure-fire job: D)

62nd August 2008 Generation Doof: How stupid are we? (Stefan Bonner, Anne Weiss)

The authors claimed to have belong to the generation of Goofy. Together they have a nice collection of funny and sometimes embarrassing blunders, all housed beautifully arranged in categories. But also on reasons why we will always seem silly, it a go, but unfortunately not very detailed. Overall, it's more of a fun book as a textbook, as much a wasted potential lies in it. Too bad, but funny and entertaining it was for even in between ^ ^

63rd Love, Your Anna (Jean Little)

Germany, 1933. Soldan family - or rather the father of the children - decided to emigrate to Canada before it in Germany, everything is worse. Since they have just inherited a grocery store by an uncle who had emigrated earlier, leaving nothing stands in the way. The father is an English teacher and the children soon learn all the hard-working foreign language. Only the mother hesitates so long is beyond it, and even baby of Anna refuses to speak even one word of English.
you will anyway from the other . Stupid and kept in the school it was bad for them from the beginning
What nobody knows: she listens attentively to the others, and learns a lot of the language. She would only say, not what you might fear the siblings to make fun of them when they make a mistake.
will be arriving in Canada for Anna everything better. The doctor who examined them before they start there must be noted that it has an extreme visual impairment. It comes in a special class of such cases, finds a sympathetic teacher, they did not before whole class to the worm does, and good friends. Only at home, they will still speak no English.

The children's book I have among all the books discovered in my father's house sitting around Sun Once belonged to one of my step-siblings and tells a really nice story.

64th Since only help pistachios (Paula Danziger)

Cassie is thirteen and has a lot of problems. Her parents argue only that they found ugly, trying to pluck her eyebrows for the first time ends in a total fiasco. Their medicine of choice in such cases: red pistachios. Their mother, however, suggests always terrible to when Cassie is back with red fingers through the area.
How is that in such books so Cassie is going through a lot of stress first, then find good friends, and confides in already existing, and in the end things will get better. (And as the story here is, I consider the parents' divorce as a good thing, because separated parents are definitely less stressful than constantly arguing)

65 September 2009 . Blues for a full moon and coyote (Christopher Moore)

Sam Hunter, a young and very successful insurance broker just want to live his life and find a wife. The fact that he actually means Samson Hunts Alone, and Indians, he has been able to hide successfully. But then suddenly appeared again and again unexpectedly from an old Indian out of nowhere and ruined by little Sam's laboriously constructed spit experience.
As Sam finds out after a while the Indians none other than Old Man Coyote a wily Indian god who can transform into all kinds of living things, constantly thinking about sex, and on top of Sam's ghost or spirit.
In flashbacks we learn more and more Find out where Sam is coming from and why he ran away.
Overall again a witty book by Moore, but it points out that it was one of the first.

66th So full of rage (Pete Smith)

Jamal out in Frankfurt a normal student life. Until a friend - Jasmin - sent to their school for a laugh a Amokdrohung. Jasmin lands in court, and must for a weekend in the Jugenarrest, as an example. In the hustle and bustle nobody notices that slowly elsewhere paves an actual disaster.
"Ronin" writes online diary and is always coming from the poor world. When he Jasmin's action and the media interest will notice that he writes about how much attention and fame until a real culprit would get.
from Jamal's view told, interspersed with diary excerpts from Ronin, follow the story and walks slowly towards the inevitable end. The massacre itself is realistic over despite unusual weapon choice, and also to think about how you can prevent a massacre, there is no shortage in history.
I found good. Not lurid, realistic and startling. A detailed
here and good reviews can be found here: www.amazon.de/review/RP9VX5Q913G3F/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm

67th The magic thief - on the hunt for the stone of power (Sarah Prineas)

street boy Conn talks to thefts of water. Once he puts his finger but in the wrong pocket. He steals magician Nevery a "locus Magicalicus," a magician stone (without a wizard to nothing is worth) to Neverys surprise this theft takes the boy not to the point, as would happen normally. Out of curiosity is Nevery Conn as a messenger boy.
A disaster that must be prevented, it can not long in coming. So turns the built on a magical energy hub city of the magic, and sets off with his assistant Nevery Benet and Conn, to find the reason. Conn has his own way yet Magicalicus locus found to be trained as wizards may. The talent he had, but without matching stone takes Nevery in him. And he must find the stone within 30 days. Now there are damn many stones in the world, and in theory it could be anyone. Fortunately, Conn noted but after a while that his stone attracts him to speak. His pitch is his stone Royal is a jewel.
History is not only funny (the chicken Benet loves to knit) and well told, but the book is also beautifully designed. It will be pushed again and again diary entries from Nevery whose sides are then trimmed nicely on old and used. Including cup rim and everything still so one of them. And because Conner is a voracious young lad so, there is the back of the book or recipes for the bread he eats so much.
For children aged ten or younger when they particularly like read;) As so often, these are a trilogy, that is, the fun is over after the first band yet:)

68th Encircled - Cols history (Nadia Wheatley)

The young Australians Colum lies with two broken legs in the hospital, and indicate how it came about.
He grew up in a small Holzfällerkaff, which is dependent on the timber industry. Even without protesting environmentalists, there are enough problems, for example, with the weather. But these are not long in coming, as once again a large piece of forest to be cleared. Cols father loggers like everyone in the coffee, we see times on the bartenders and the Sheriff. Col itself secretly sympathizes with environmentalists, as he himself has a secret palace in the forest. An old house from a destroyed by a landslide town is completely overgrown with plants. His father, he can tell them nothing. The first person who finds any, where Col goes, if he withdraws into the forest, jade, an environmentalist, with whom he falls head over heels. When his father is going against the protesters, he rammed a bulldozer with the tree, sits on the Colum. All others - that is the "real" Environmentalists would rather have gone out of the way, only Col stopped. By the bulldozer he falls and breaks, so the legs. Not only that, his father throws him out at home yet, after all he has - the fact that his palace was now publicly yet, and was declared a National Monument - the loggers working away.
fact that everything will look back as told directly by Col, become very interesting. Fascinating and written with no black and white painting with evil and good.

69th I am not a serial killer (Dan Wells)

John Wayne Cleaver is 15 and has basically all the features that make up a sociopath. Because he is afraid to become serial killers, but which now do not really want, he regularly goes to a psychologist. He also presents itself to itself rules. He avoids confrontation, is animals out of their way not to be tempted to torture them, and when he realizes that his behavior is obsessive to a person, he imposes on himself, that person complete at least a week to go out of their way. He has also bought a token friend, with whom he can not do much really, who in turn finds quite cool, because John has a knack of putting other students in fear. What John is located, is that his mother prepared professional bodies, and may help. This is no longer allowed for him the worst punishment he could imagine.
One day, driven by a serial killer on the loose in John's town, and he begins to investigate. Observed the offender, even in a murder. To catch the perpetrators can be John's rules are rules, and can wake up the sleeping monster within him.
A very exciting book, with John as a narrator, to make matters more interesting, since its Thoughts are worth reading. Moreover, the story is peppered with references to real cases and offenders, for which I am interested in anyway. By naming a web address then my interest is totally flared up again, and I finally looked completely by Criminal Minds: D.
There are two more volumes, which I will certainly read it, because if John can hold back after his first murder to be interesting.

70th The Flight of the Fire Fairy King (Vanessa Walder)

sequel to "The Magic Curse of the Elf King," I have not read. We understand the story but even so:)
Erik is traveling with his class in the museum, when he suddenly noticed that reside between the exhibits, a few goblins. How could get nearly there? Of course, the goblins now make for chaos and moving - a trail of destruction and confusion, leaving behind - through the city.
When Erik and his sister Ariana received a call for help from the enchanted forest, they understand what is wrong. The global limit is broken. Fairy King Leandro needs the help of children to prevent a disaster. With the help of the kite commitment he has them in the Magic Forest fly to then strike out with them.
During his absence, in which he tries to cope with the human world and the goblins recapture, but there are still problems in the forest, because his deputy abused his position of power.
exciting and imaginative children's fantasy. The first part is certainly worth reading, but needs to be said for not understanding how to read file.

71st The town of rain eaters: Chronicles of the world viewfinder (Thomas Thiemeyer)

1893, Berlin. The sixteen-year-old pickpocket Oskar brings his career actually doing fine until he makes the mistake of Carl Freidrich to steal from Donhauser. It provides him with a small chase on foot, and although no one so well versed in the labyrinthine streets, such as Oskar, Donhauser keeps popping up in front of him. Oskar did not succeed him to hang out, and is finally numbed by it, by putting a white powder is blown in the face. When Oskar
regains consciousness, he is in the house of his victim. Donhauser is explorer and adventurer, who pretends to be happy as a descendant of Alexander von Humboldt. For his next expedition he can still a shrewd guy like Oscar need, and instead of punishing him, he makes him the offer to accompany him.
Together with Humboldt's housekeeper Eliza - a voodoo priestess, which also came the white powder - Humboldt's niece Charlotte - over the course of history less and less bitchy and lovable - and a Kiwi, a pet make Humboldt, Humboldt and Oskar on the way to the Andes to search for a long time believed extinct people, from whose city was high in the mountains a photographic plate of a lost researcher found.
will encounter on the trip and less friendly to nice people, discovered huge, dangerous insects, pursued by a former lover of Humboldt, and is finally of course the City. There is worsening the story to its climax when a risk of attack of the giant grasshoppers, and to be filled by the newcomers an ancient prophecy seems.

Very exciting classic adventure novel - is even today not as the trendy genre - with a tiny touch of fantasy. Has a little bit like Indiana Jones and stories. Again, this is only the beginning of a series, and so good that I can imagine reading the other books too. The characters are all well prepared, the foreign countries are incredibly well over, and the slightly more fantastic part reads quite realistic. I can only recommend.

72nd Murder in Swabia (Mark T. Mall)

A little fiction book about murder in my home ^ ^ It's about murders from the Middle Ages to the present day, the killings were carried out by the government, and killings by private individuals. Assassins running amok, etc. Was very interresting, but is unfortunately not much stuck.

73rd Black Shark (Werner J. Egli)

Kombüsenjunge Tommy goes to the Emma-Lou to Somalia. Also on board is Amy, the daughter of the captain.
Nuria is a girl who knows nothing in life except on the run to be. Before soldiers from slave traders, from predators.
Tarek and Omar, two young Somalis to travel around the country, soldiers shot and help villagers who are threatened by these soldiers. You are on the way to Black Shark, the famous pirates and rebels.
All these people are confronted with each other, as the Emma-Lou is captured by the pirates.
Together they go to their common goal. Tarek and Omar to go to Black Shark, Amy and Tommy free to Amy's father. Finally, there are violence and fighting. The scenes, as the pirate camp is attacked, have become terribly realistic, and indeed the whole book.
With nearly 200 pages it is also suitable for reading muffle, and the content is always worthwhile, if one is interested in the topic. So from the 14 should be read without problems.

74th Do not look now (Daphne Du Maurier)

's an Easy Reader was out of the English classes that I have read purely out of curiosity. Unfortunately, very short and simplified English somewhat cheap looking. From her story but not uninteresting.
runs a couple after the death of his daughter to Venice on vacation to relax, and there is molested by two old ladies who claim to speak with the daughter . The daughter seems to want to warn the couple and the woman is so worried that she leaves on the spot. The man is longer because he wants to take the car, and he can leave it until a day later ... Is it too well
ne film.

75th The way up to heaven and other stories (Roald Dahl)

Another Easy Reader. Roald Dahl I like, so I thought, I read the times. Now I know its cool but rather children's books, which are all really only recommended. This is more ne collection of old-fashioned ghost stories with humor and such. But I liked ^ ^

76th The dramaturgy of killing (Jincy Willett)

Amy Gallup is unsuccessful novelist. Once a promising newcomer, she has now put in 30 years anything anymore, which could be published. Your money she earns to give writing workshops. Among the participants there are always those that occur after the first hour no more, there are talented and totally untalented. In this course, but something is different. A participant begins to anonymously make fun of the work of his colleagues, offending the others and to terrorize with becoming increasingly nasty pranks. In his written comments is shown that the unknown participants is quite talented, but it is not so easy to figure out who it is. Amy suspected by and by everybody, and all try to figure out who is behind it for now. The whole thing is getting worse, until finally one of the participants is found dead.

Amusing crime novel of anything but typical. Overall, the story could be written better, but it was good enough to keep me entertained. Amy's thoughts on the students are wonderful, and the diary entries of the offender, and his comments are just to be working well in the story.
For me the more interesting since I even regularly go into the writing workshop. With Amy as a teacher I would certainly not be happy, but the whole thing is quite funny to look at from the outside.

77th Danny, the Champion of the World (Roald Dahl)

And since we already have the example of one of Dahl's children's books that I like you. I had read that far yet, and although I've sometimes taken the film, years ago, I am still not come to see the film.
Danny lives with his father in a trailer. The father runs a petrol station with workshop, and the two are happy, even though they are poor. Every now and then creeps to breed the father in the woods of a rich landowner, the pheasants and invite wealthy people to hunt can and grabs one of the animals. Since the forest rangers are also employees, that's a dangerous business, and when the time is missed because of such people, no Fassa comes to the table.
When Danny learns that his father is a poacher, he is initially horrified, but soon he will be just as well, like his father. Together, they hatch a plan on how they can steal just before the hunt pheasants all.

exciting and funny, just like Dahl writes ^ ^

Baking A Frittata In A Cast Iron Skillet

Books 2009 (Part One - January to June)

so here it is, the list of all the books I have read in 2009 habe.Gegen end left me a little motivation, but my goal of 100 books, I've done anyway. Granted, there are a few children's books are obtained by creating in a few minutes, but "real" books are still ever so including the 80th

And because the list is damn long and it still takes quite a while when I do write the content has yet to, and a link to the forum is not enough, I'll take her time in stages. The half I've managed to the rest comes later. Either again divided, or by the piece, depending on how it goes like this:)
Have fun, and let them make you not feel guilty that other people read so much: D (ne, Merm)?

January 2009

first The letter to the King (Tonke Dragt)

Content: forum.dieseher.de / thread.php
Recommendable adventure novel for children and young people

second Twig and Rook, the last sky pirate (Paul Stewart)
third Rook and the black maelstrom (Paul Stewart)

Content: forum.dieseher.de / thread.php
meantime, I have them already forgotten almost everything. Is the kind of book that can be read more often or do;) The Edge Chronicles are my own personal, non-existent ranking on the same level as Moers' Zamonienromane.

4th The Schrecksenmeister (Walter Moers)

Content: forum.dieseher.de / thread.php
Zamonienroman The story with the lowest proportion, in spite of many words. Some people liked the Schrecksenmeister not so much because little going on, I found, however, this book also very successful. Maybe you have to eat but also particularly like to think so: D

5th Speak German! (Wolf Schneider)

Content: forum.dieseher.de / thread.php
Was nice to read and very interesting. Meanwhile, we are in the store another book by Schneider, which I will read any sometimes. Title there "would win but the subjunctive" ^ ^

6th Anything else? (Elke Heidenreich)

technically I have not read. I was visiting my grandma, who sees only very poorly, making them of their daughters received views from a CD player and various audio books. Anything else is a rather short history, we then heard together.

7th Runaways

and the turn was not technically a book. Is this much more of a comic series that I was kindly loaned by Willow (if previously present) and the show has lasted long enough that I could itemize it;)
Content: en.wikipedia.org / wiki / Runaways_ (comics)
I find it still difficult to read comics, because I have to press as forced and extremely fast reader on the brakes in order to also see the pictures , But worthy Runaways was worth the effort.

8th Brother Staubfuß (Rosemary Sutcliff)

As a poor man can be earned by the study, that it is a richer students. On his way he meets a traveling troupe actors, allowing him to join.
written exciting, with a forced happy ending, but the match after all.

9th The Old Man and Mr. Smith (Peter Ustinov)

God - in the form of an old man - and the devil - as Mister Smith - go again to earth to see how people have made up. Since God is very honest of course, he first landed in an asylum, where he met some others think they are god: D Unlike Mr. Smith knows the old man not at all with people deal, which always causes trouble on the run from the FBI
xD A very amusing story, but it also can not be lacking in depth.

17th Plunge through the window (Wolfram Eicke)

A book I read as a child once, and in the boarding school library was rediscovered.
Julio is a poor student with low self-esteem, neither his name nor like himself. His father hires a tutor for math, and everything changes. The teacher is a clown of the circus wintering who originally wanted to only collect donations. This gives Julio not only enjoy learning but also in life, and building with his protege a lot of shit.

18th To run through Beijing (Xu mines)

Content: forum.dieseher.de / thread.php

19th Merle without mouth (Elisabeth Reuter)

children's book for Subject of sexual abuse. Even though everything was very subtly described, but to be read rather crass.

20th Iris Gone with the Wind (Karin Stjernholm Raeder)

also discovered in the Internatsbibliothel. Very short children's book with many pictures, which I admittedly mainly because of the name of the title character read. Iris is a tiny little girl (xD) is sleeping in a soap dish, covered with a rose petal. One day she is struck by a gust of wind and blown away. Then she wanders a bit, until she meets elves who have something the same size as, and in which they can establish themselves.
real cute story with nice pictures.

24th Behind closed doors (Paul Auster)

And the third part of the trilogy.
Content: de.wikipedia.org / wiki / Hinter_verschlossenen_Türen
I can not say exactly why, but I like to read Auster. I know that some people find it dead boring (for example, the entire English-credit course was when Moon Palace had to be read. I was in the base rate is not needed and that the book had received but a gift from my aunt and swallowed) and many people do not can do with it, that so little happens in his stories. I like it exactly when and variety is the now and just right for me.

25th Speaker for the Dead (Orson Scott Card)

The second part of the so-called Ender saga. The predecessor is "Ender's Game" and is about a boy who is trained in the Battle School, out in space, with other children for soldiers to avert the threat of invasion by aliens. In Speaker for the Dead Ender has grown up, and travels through space and (sort of) and time to pursue his work as so-called Speaker. A speaker speaks at the funeral of a deceased person, but not only good, but simply the truth. The story is set on a planet that was populated by people with the resident organisms may not come into contact in order to threaten their culture (not finished after that time to have wiped out an entire race seemed a bit has been changed in rules, and you try to get along with others) The Piggies (the very beings are), but still visited by few people who are as much about them - but this possible disclose nothing about their own technology, customs and values may. Eventually it comes to deaths, and end is called - as it was called years ago already, it does not take too long until it actually arrives (in space they can be very long way;)) and the life of the people there on its head. I like
Cards Sci-Fi stories. In general, I rather read fantasy, but here enough value is placed on alien races and placed interpersonal relationships, that I also with the technical details clearly come ^ ^ The Piggies are - once you get to know all important -. A damn crazy race
liked Nevertheless, I Ender's Game Ender's Shadow, and above all (the same story as Ender's Game from another perspective) better, because the protagonists were children there. And intelligent Children in impossible situations I simply entertain immensely.

26th Dangerous Mistress (Haruki Murakami)

A really good book that has aroused in me by the title, however, totally false expectations. I've been waiting the whole time while reading it, that something dangerous happens, in terms of murder and manslaughter, or at least blackmail. Nothing like that, it's simply keep a man as he grew up, with whom he was so all along, as he has married rich, and whom he has laughed at you as a lover. The blurb did not, unfortunately, relative to the track, so I followed it but a There was little disappointed.

27th Codeword risk: Full speed through the desert (David Fermer)

A children's book that is put up real nice. Code word risk is a row of books that belong together, not content, but are equally equipped. Thus, besides the exciting story the way any information about the book, and little puzzles for each chapter.
Full speed through the desert is very small for what auto enthusiasts first reader. Large font simplifies things.
Story: Marvin's father accepted a car races by dei desert, and Marvin sneaks on board. Now, his father did not throw out just like that, so he takes him first to the next stage. Heading to experience both a lot. Unfair competition and a sand storm weld together father and son, and finally of course, everything is good.

34th Flight to the Apricot (Miriam Müntefering)
35th Apricot in the heart (Miriam Müntefering)

part one and two is a nice little lesbian love story. Willow had once recommended to me, and after a similar knitted book had me disappointed more recently, the two were on the shelf for a while, until I opened them yet.
Well written, exciting and compassion.

36th When I was still called Gretchen Asmussen (Chris King)

Yet another children's book, which I have remembered spontaneously, after which I bought it I just needed. And my recollection I was not getrügt. It was just as well as I thought.
Gretchen and her big sister Dorchen are of good family and they lack nothing. Dorchen is always pretty rebellious and boisterous. When she gets for Christmas a boat, as expected, it behaves totally wrong with the boy next door (but it does not deserve better) beats them, and then she cuts off her braids and another, to see how it would look as a boy. This inevitably leads to big trouble, so she grabs Gretchen, and goes off with her. They live in the first tüdeligen aunt of a friend, then pull with a circus and end up with a shepherd.

37th May 2009 The Golden Compass (Philip Pullman)
38th The Subtle Knife (Philip Pullman)
39th The Amber Spyglass (Philip Pullman)

the movie the golden compass I first saw that has aroused my interest, and Willow was kind enough to lend me the books. I have read it, and was nevertheless disappointed by the film, which had previously fallen to me pretty well: D
The story of Lyra and Will is written in a very exciting and full of interesting ideas. The worlds that are described are, over all totally plastic, and the beings that exist among other things, too. Even I liked the angel;)
Actually, I should get the books at himself, so I can read again. But they are definitely suitable.

40th The Neverending Story (Michael Ende)

I finally read the book again. As a child I just never ran across the road (although I have read several other books from the end and obsessed - my Momoausgabe is eventually disappeared, mess) Later I saw the movie and found it great. Have him for it on DVD. The second film enjoyed only moderate, the third will not.
The book, however, I was able through and through. And after reading the book, I think the first movie still very good. I like even less the second and the third has to do anyway to do with the whole thing.
attention to the book I was really only because there was a new paperback edition, which I did not want him. Instead, I have a used version of bonded risen, and they read in one go. Michael Ende has actually a very weird imagination, if you look at the nature and locations of the never-ending story brings about it: D
written exciting course that is also everything for me and has a reading above all the magic of the rat reading something. Books in which it comes to books goes, one can always read to give me ^ ^

41st Snakeroot (Stephen Cole)

first of a trilogy, the second part, I've unfortunately not yet read, though he is already in the store and as a paperback and not very expensive.
Jonah is 17 and sits in jail because he has his intelligence and his talent I used computers for criminal acts. From this prison he will be taken one night by a group of young people who have planned the liberation surprisingly well. When he will refuse to go, he is promptly stunned, and only comes back to himself, as it is too late. He is moved to a villa where the other guys and Girls have their room, and only gradually learns what's going on really. Together with the other and under the direction of a wealthy older man named Nathanael Cold Hardt will be broken into well-secured objects. Stolen antiques, old partially encrypted text and more. Jonah must try as a code expert to decipher the text, so the search - that they really do not know - can continue.
But they are not the only ones looking. Rival groups of them get in the way, and sometimes it gets really dangerous, especially as they find out only in the course of history, now who is on whose side, and how everything is connected. Towards the end it will be something fantastic, what bothers me though many a do not. In Indiana Jones let me because of something I also do not prevent them from finding the story well:) And it just fits the overall concept.
Overall, one can really compare with a little Indiana Jones, but also youth who may espionage thriller as Alex Rider novels and the Top Secret series, will come at his expense.

42 June 2009 . Private investigator Mike McCoy 2 - hot ice cream (Rainer M. Schröder)

Rainer M. Schröder is a fairly well-known and very good young author, from which one knows but rather historical adventure novels. This mystery I've also borrowed from the library at a young age, and sent up my mind then used the other day because I wanted to know whether I still be good.
The good thing about the story is that I forget every time after a certain time, who was now the perpetrators. Respectively. who did it and why. Quite as easy as the story is not knit that is. Since there are several things that were covered up, so it comes to blackmail and murder. And in the middle Mike, who do not know where his head is, which itself has trouble with the police (like any good private investigator in poor such stories, which prides itself on;)) and of course no money. On top of that is because then the client and the obligatory pretty careless, wacky sidekick is not missing.
Despite all the clichés written the book exciting, and as I said, a bit more complex, yet believable. Has now been fun to read it ^ ^

43rd do the book with no name (Anonymous)

Some people read it because the blurb seems to promise much, and the whole thing is not as interactive as some may believe. It's just a book, but it is a good book and I found It's just cool. Moreover, it is one of those books that I am impressed, but in which so damn much happened that I read at least twice, not to forget everything. So far I have read it only once, so my memory is it a bit foggy. I know but as I said yet that I was pretty excited.
One reviewer described the style as a mix of Douglas Adams and Quentin Tarantino, what other reviewers are upset again totally. are people who found the book quite ok it less, most thought it was either great or total crap, what they fix most of the writing style. Or the fact that vampires appear and the like.
I must say that the blurb tells a simple not enough, and may well raise false expectations (and that's never good because it almost inevitably leads to disappointment)
I personally liked the book. I was doing well from the start, if only because the first chapter of stealing just the beginning of El Mariachi fully. Then it's different then on, but that has only let me read it. I also found the freak show of characters very nice, and that it increasingly came to know because most were on it at some point, I was also good: D

44th Stupid demons (Royce Buckingham)

Nate lives in a paranormal house that is inhabited by demons. Its mission is to provide these demons, and to keep them in check. The least dangerous of them are, most are simply arrogant and a little wild.
But in the basement of the house is locked, the ANIMAL, the love come down like to fish waste from his diet and eat again a child would. As Nate times will have some privacy to break a two guys, and they unlock the cellar, escapes from Neigierde the ANIMAL, and Nate has it, with the help of new found friends and chaotic demons recapture it before it causes too much harm.
With just over 200 pages of the book got quite thin, which can move one or the other reading muffle perhaps to opening it. Unfortunately, this brief also ensures that everything happened a little quickly, and to some extent in the negative sense. I have nothing against so brisk paces in books, but through various feeling things will be very durchgehetzt, and many a minor character is drawn too little detail. However, I had great fun reading, and the successor Grumpy Monster I would also like to do to me.

45th Perdido - The Amulet of the card-maker (Rob Stevens)

Hugo, a twelve year old orphan boy in England of the 15th Century, lives with his uncle, who was a cartographer, but his career hung on a nail, as Hugo's father died at sea, and now cares full time for Hugo. He tried to keep as Hugo in the country, but is fascinated by everything that has to do with seafaring, and looks also secretly always on the cards of his uncle. Together, the two eventually end up on a ship that goes on an expedition, and are sold on an unknown island, which they measured should.
Unfortunately, there are all sorts of fantastic creatures of the island so, and the uncle is kidnapped by unfriendly flying fast Bister. Hugo must try to find him to leave the island again, before the ship stores. Here to help him two strange but cute creatures. The Flying Pig Pigasus (: D) and the mouse Hercules. With both he learns a few other helpful creatures know, explore the island discovered, by the way have a slightly encrypted card, and saves his uncle.
The book is relatively short, with its 250 pages. Nevertheless, Rob Stevens manages it all Characters develop well, and the story has become exciting. Beautiful fantasy adventure for children 46th ^ ^

Angstmän - a heroic story panic (Hartmut El Kurdi)

Jennifer Mann is nine years old and home alone. Her single mother is a nurse and had a surprise for the night shift. Jennifer is at first enthusiastic and works from their list of things that she wanted all along. How to lie, for example, with shoes on the sofa, turn on all electrical equipment to fly out the fuses and so on. When she still durchzappt all programs on television, it remains attached to a horror movie and get scared. What if someone is hiding somewhere in the house? To make matters worse, they hear it then really rattle. In the closet. She pulls himself together, opens the door, and there actually is someone. A small, skinny guy in spandex. Angstmän, the Hispanic hero. He comes from a world where everyone is a hero to have, unfortunately, it is his area of expertise, fear. He hides in the closet before Pöbelmän who heckled him again, and again behind him. Pöbelman can not wait too long in coming, and despite all attempts by distraction Jennifermän (;)) he finds Angstmän and begins to torture him to the heinous. But together Angstmän and Jennifermän are strong, they beat Pöbelmän convert not only him but the same, and comes as Jennifer's mother's home, everything is fine.
this book I've read schonmal years ago, as the son of my cousins had it this time to New Year's Eve. In boarding school, it then had a classmate with it because it was came out in paperback again. Even on the second reading very funny with a serious background.

47th Clemenine (Sara Pennypacker)

In the same Series came out again, as Angstmän, Clementine, too, is quite nice and quite funny, overall I liked it but not quite as good. All in all it was pretty funny, but compared to similar stories, such as Emil of Maple Hills or Calvin and Hobbes Clementine has no chance. the children know and like Michael, but they are certainly at Clementine have their fun:)

48th Diner of horror (A. Lee Martinez)

vampire Earl and his buddy Duke the werewolf make on their road trip stop at a diner. Said Diner is visited most frequently by zombies, what did not explain the owner , since the local cemetery is home to not so many bodies, such as knocking on her door in time. Loretta, the bartender and owner is ado Earl and Duke, to help her with the dinner and the zombie problem, after seeing what was claimed the two. Gradually, the three find out who is behind the zombie attacks, and why.
entertaining and funny. Reminded me a bit of reading books by Christopher Moore, only a little more content to well-known myths oriented:)

49th The Picture of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde)

a must. And that is because we read in school in groups Classics and units had to keep: D
Overall, I've never regretted having read it, and with the discussions at the group we had a lot of fun with the book (and the various translations of English or version), but voluntary, and only for entertainment that would not necessarily what was. The story itself should be familiar to anyone (young man can be vain portrait age in his place and will gradually emerge as the murderous puke) and I had been informed in some measure, but until the story gathers speed, time, The book is already around. It starts slowly, with infinite ramblings of Lord Henry, who wants to influence the painter Basil all the time. Then he takes the Dorian to the chest, and pulls him to the dark side of the force;)
It happens even more endless ramblings on the way, topped by a bit of misguided love, and only shortly before everything goes to hell, go it really started. If one then in the beautiful swing, it is suddenly over, and you do not know where to come up with the reading pleasure.

50th Skulduggery Pleasant: The gentleman with the firing hand (Derek Landy)

The twelve year old Stephanie learns at the funeral of her uncle, that his entire Inherited assets alone (apart from their relationship once the parents are very angry does) Also at the funeral there is a Wrapped type that Stephanie found strange. A little later, when he just saves time, it also notes why. Skudluggery is actually a skeleton. First and foremost he is a detective, but eventually he was even a skeleton, and it could not stop them from continuing to work as a detective. Together the pair try to figure out who Stephanie's uncle has on his conscience, and incidentally brings Skulduggery his protege a little magic with.
The story is not particularly complex, and the characters are drawn not very deep. But that makes this book at all. It reads like an action movie with a good dose of humor, and dialogue that are just good.

51st Lorenz, Anton and the schoolyard gang (Eva Polak)

Another children's book about bullying. Was quite nice, there are better.

52nd Before the tide comes in (Susan Cooper)

The first part of the five-part work "Winter Solstice" and "The Dark Is Rising" make
Jane, Barney and Simon with their parents vacation in Cornwall. What at first for them not very exciting, is fast becoming an adventure, their backgrounds, they understand not know yet. Explore the house in which they live, they have a card, and when her "uncle" Merriman Lyon joins them to skip the events. Together they search for the Holy Grail, is said to be hiding somewhere on the coast. But there are also opponents in the vicinity of course, it is not easy.

53rd Winter Solstice (Susan Cooper)

And the second part of the series. By Jane, Barney and Simon is not, however, reported. It's more about Will Stanton, a child of a large family, and seventh son of a seventh son. He is the last of the Ancients, and Merriman shows up to give it a little to help to find their role in his deal. The darkness can not wait too long in coming, and Will tries to get my hands before it is too strong. He has to first task is to collect six signs of light and thus to come clear that he is no ordinary boy.
The same film stinks in comparison to the huge book from what is largely because the story of the five books is not considered large. Instead, only this book taken, and the story so twisted that it is working alone. Sorry, but it does more bad than good and the film I was already failed before I've read the books again
