Spider An Oral B Toothbrush Battery

Books 2010 - already too many letters

September 73rd The battle of the Dino Knights (Michael Gerard Bauer)

Yet another book in which I get more than I would have expected on the basis of title, blurb and cover.
work in a top-secret research laboratory scientists are working to get a dinosaur for a few seconds in their time, so he can be photographed from all sides and then analyzed. Of course, things go wrong, and instead of being sent back to his own time, land of the dinosaurs during the Middle Ages. There, two boys live with her thrown out of the castle, crazy father, who was once the personal physician of their ruler, in the woods - quite near the place where the dinosaur appears. First warnings are not taken seriously, then some knights worn until the boys decide to go against the monster.

The story takes place in three different times and is told from three different angles. First, we have
as the mad scientist who screwed up the whole thing - it's very obsessive, because when you have ever get the opportunity, a to be compared to living dinosaurs? The scientist is a journalist on hand, holding the experiment for quite mistaken, but finally researched when the dinosaur could probably be landed.
The bulk of the story is disputed by the boys in the Middle Ages. They have almost more trouble with the mischievous bailiff, with the dinosaurs. The course prepares them additional problems. The father is considered crazy anyway, so when he confirmed that a huge monster responsible for the death of a powerful man is not this really helps. Instead, he ends up in prison, and is to be executed the next day for murder. So have the sons of a good reason to seek the dinosaurs - the casually thus makes sure that you now believe in dragons xD
And then there's the view of the dinosaur. Is trying to get just another dinosaur eat when he suddenly landed in a strange environment with strange creatures and is scared the first time entirely - until he finds out that the small, soft things can eat, walk around the DA. True, he feels, but not yet.
This narrative makes the book worth reading, but otherwise it would be much better than one might think should ^ ^

74th Traces - Framed [Traces - Death shooter] (Malcolm Rose)

In German, I had already read the previous year. Then I eventually found on the square of the Amazons very good offers from all six parts in English and slammed. Compared cuts the translation from not bad, so you can read it quietly even in German, when the offering rather - since a miss in any case ^ ^ Again, nothing
to content: Luke Harding finished with sixteen years, his training as a forensic investigator and is the youngest. To recover from the stress of exams is not an option, as found immediately after the last examination a body and the case is turned over to Luke.
his side is Malc, the mobile computer that serves as a laboratory and files and also, of course, Luke must protect, if they put at risk. Luke from provides and that in itself does Malc him so he can meet his girlfriend. In the future, in which the story plays, one can get married, and the like set by the authorities, and a musician fits with rules not just to an investigator. So from the fact that Luke and is unobserved is a small problem. The following is the more deaths, and every victim had a motive and Luke. Since he has no alibi, he must also identify against themselves ... liked xD

even after reading it back to me very well. How does Luke's world is not explained, but might be just, and will be understood by and by reading. Especially fun, of course, were the dialogues between Luke and Malc, the sarcasm and the like only still needs to learn (Mynt would get on well with him, and it is there more advanced)

75th Traces - Lost Bullet [Traces - Ricochet] (Malcolm Rose)

Also read first in German, also liked still.
Luke is summoned to London, a seedy, dangerous place where people can hide well and not recorded. Crimes of the day here, but is shot as a doctor, is the reason enough to employ an investigator.
Luke, a connection between the Doctor and a non-registered white boys make, which was treated by her, after he was also shot at him. Soon everything
indicated that a cult has its finger in the game, because even on a small group of White, who meet regularly, is an attack perpetrated.
This sect is against medical treatment and looks at the white minority as a bunch of sinners, their pale skin color than punishment for their sins. Since the sect is also against the marriage policy of the authorities, it is for Luke may request the people know that he does not lie - - not too difficult to infiltrate, Malc can confirm however, that hatch in the regard is also not exactly thrilled by the authorities. In between times
is reported from the perspective of the bomber, but without that you can stay who he is for now. Of course, it is also dangerous for Luke, and also for the white boy, Owen, whom he persuaded to help him.

76th Puerta Oscura - dead travel (David Lozano Garbala)

Pascal and his best buddy Dominique are invited to a Goth party. Actually, they go out but only because Michelle will also be there, is in love with Pascal. Since he is not faced, Pascal is sent to the attic, where he is from a chest full of clothes was out looking for suitable. But as he rummaged through the things he loses his footing and falls into the chest. In the dark at one time much larger effect, and will not rise anymore. When he examined the walls of the chest, Pascal lands in the realm of the dead, to which the chest is a door that opens only once every 100 years the stroke of midnight on All Saints again to the Hikers pass through. This acts as a kind of wanderer link between the worlds, and Pascal was the right time at right place (or how you look at it also in the wrong place) just too long, it may not reside in the realm of the dead, or he may never again leave.
That the opportunity to go over to the grave, not only brings with it good will, must be in clear as a series of murders Paris in fear and terror. A malicious vampire whose goal is to get rid of the walker and close the door so he can create a world of vampires, it has managed to leave the grave. After
several brutal murders he kidnapped Michelle over the underworld in order to lure Pascal there. In Paris, meanwhile, identified a police officer who would hear nothing of the supernatural, but the medical examiner, who stands at her side there is much more open. Dominique is under the its own investigation along with Daphne fortune teller - the two are soon to be the suspect the police.

a good idea for a book is but unfortunately a lot of potential wasted. The story seems at times tough and bumpy in some places, the author is easily made, but all in all it was but something nice that you can read in between. And hey, the vampire sparkles, but rather is evil, brutal and sadistic. The 600 pages could have been reduced but still prior to publishing yet. Probably would get the book well, and it would please me better (and me, but I do not get enough in many other books can, and prefer to read a few hundred pages longer have)

77th If you die, your life moves past you, they say (Lauren Oliver)

Samantha Kingston is one of the popular student of her school, looks good, has three girlfriends and is also popular with a guy standing on the all. Friday, the twelfth of February was actually a normal day for them. She takes her friends to school, expects a lot of ordinary Valentine's Day roses, skipping the sixth hour, and goes to Kent's evening party.
But upon leaving the party, she died in a car accident.
wakes And on the morning of twelfth day of February again.
going through it again and again that day, and tries to create it somehow, from the time loop break.

Basically this is a Groundhogday history, what would have reason enough to read it. As the narrative is built up but, I was really impressed. On the first day you learn the characters already know so well, that one can conclude by saying "wow, what nasty Tussen" But with each new day finds you a little more about different people, learn other quite new to know, and is informed by flashbacks in the more distant past or more. So that one understands in the end, who was to why he is now.
Speaking of the end: I was reading genuine fear that, until then really wonderfully successful book is spoiled by an inconsistent end, but fortunately was not the case. I am not sure whether is it just because, or the book is really great, but it is for me the absolute top titles that I've made this year.

78th In the Country of Last Things [In the Country of Last Things] (Paul Auster)

a friendly loan from a fellow student who also likes to read Auster like me (the only one I know so far, so I saw him in nÄ next block miss especially will)
In the country of last things written in letter form. Anna Blume wrote to a childhood friend after she landed in a city where everything has collapsed. There is no industry that people collect garbage or search objects can resell them. The city government is unstable and does not do much more than to ensure that enough dead bodies are burned to produce energy.
Anna searches for her brother, a journalist who has been missing in this city. His address is with them, also a photo of Samuel Farr, who's brother had been sent behind after the not has more reported. Since the address of her brother leads her into a devastated street, she proposes for the first time by itself, then living with another woman and her malevolent husband, lands after the death of her roommate on the road unit, then in the library are scholars and clerics still reasonably accommodated reasonable and met Samuel. With him, she spent a happy time, but after she was nearly abducted by a man into a human slaughterhouse Anna ends in a homeless shelter in which they can then work yourself. Samuel, meanwhile, is no longer referred to as the library Shortly after Anna's dilemma was on fire.

An interesting dystopia in a nameless city. Life there seems so sad that it is not surprising that people are only still there because an exit is not easy. That exactly then, ultimately, remains open - in the letter ends with Anna that she considers it appropriate to leave the city, and they would sign up again - I like that.
After all the other Auster novels I've read is that also again a little out of line. In the past was at least not long acted much like here, but almost everything from playing more in thought. Although I also like it was a nice change ^ ^

79th Stories of Bad Dreckskaff: Mr. Urxl and the glitter thing (Philip Ardagh)

Bad Dreckskaff is very different than the name suggests, a clean, nice little town. If I could only be Mr. Urxl would be the dirtiest man alive. He is so dirty that it sometimes even shoots grow from the ears, so the rest of the citizens decide in one meeting, someone had to say Hernn Urxl that he is washed, otherwise it is thrown out of the city .
This thankless task is to Yvonne, hang the urban Enteneinsammlerin, but before anything can be resolved, roll over the events.

So far, I knew of Philip Ardagh only the first three volumes of the Eddie Dickens trilogy (yes, I know, but it now includes six volumes of times xD) which is also translated by Harry Rowohlt. This pleased me in English as in German very well. Stories of Bad Dreckskaff I did find quite nice, but compared to Eddie Dickens loses yet powerful. Ardagh for a book it is rather bad, but still better than much of what is on the market.

80th The Demon's Lexicon [The Circle of demon] (Sarah Rees Brennan)

After I had already read the last year in German, so now again in English. The second part would be read, so I have my memory refreshed again.
It pleased me still necessary and I was very anxious to see if the second volume would make me just as much fun.
Again, the content: The brothers Alan and Nick are together with their crazy mother on the run from mages. Back Arthur, Leader of the circle of Obsidian is apparently behind a valuable amulet ago, is alleged to have stolen his mother.
When Jamie - a classmate of Nick - is drawn by a demon looking for, he and his sister Mae help the brothers, as they have a reputation to gain an understanding of the occult. With joy (Alan) and reluctantly (Nick), the brothers want to say the other brother and sister to the side and go to the fair are the goblins, where demons summons that can be asked among other things, with them a drawing of a demon repealed.

81. The Demon's Covenant (Sarah Rees Brennan)

A successful sequel, which was quite different than I had expected. Unlike in the first part of the story is told here not Nick's perspective, but this time is that of Mae sympathize with which we can and think. In this way they play and her brother Jamie automatically larger roles, what we learn about her family, and of course you can see Nick from a different perspective.
Why did the four ever again meet, after they have separated at the end of part one is a the most important Plotteile. Mae finds out that Gerald - now leader of the Obsidian Coven - trying to persuade Jamie to join them. Even worse Mae finds that Jamie has not even what her about it.
Appeals to Mae Alan and Nick to help bring Jamie to reason, or should at least take care of him. Gerald and thus plays into the hands of the forces behind Nicks ago.

As in the first volume is quite clear in the end, you could see the previously completely different. Alan's a perfect liar, so the story from the perspective of another person is ideal. This worked with Nick, and that works with Mae.
Jamie I like the characters in addition to Nick on loved ones, simply because he is so quiet and peaceful man (okay, I admit, the NEN will get their homo-Bonus)
The thing I like the books very well like: protagonists do not survive in any case.
The end of this volume makes me wait wait to see how it goes (as told and from whose point of view the last part ... is really only Jamie, because if Alan would otherwise simply lost a lot, I think) Cliff Hanger - even if there meaner is - just what nasty person when it has yet to come out.

final tip for all other book addicts: sometimes you can get other people to buy entire series, by giving them recommends the first part. They are a loan from sheer gratitude for the tip like the successor, so that you do not have quite as high expenditure

82nd Traces - Roll Call [Traces - serial murder] (Malcolm Rose)

In the hottest summer, the UK has experienced before, a young woman apparently dies a natural death. Her death struggle lasted long and was obviously painful, but poison is found in their bodies any.
in December found another woman dead, a stab wound in the chest, but no reference to the murder weapon.
A third died in a sauna at an unknown poison.
The connection? All three hot Emily Wonder.
Luke and Malc are assigned to the case and soon come under pressure of time, as a fourth Emily Wonder abducted. A young girl who disappeared in London. Ironically, London, at the moment is not the best place to stay, because a large tsunami is on the way to destroy large parts of the town begins. Apart
fact that the case is interesting again anyway (except the stab wound that was just too obvious what was being used as a weapon), we meet again on Owen Goode, the white boy from the previous book. Under the deal which he has signed with Luke, Owen now leads a small youth center in which outliers play football with him and what not all. Owen is once again asked for help because the authorities put not a lot of importance to people not registered or to evacuate torn children - especially since they do not even know who is there so everything rumirrt. So Owen is to drum up all he can find and bring to safety. Luke, meanwhile, makes the search for the little Emily Wonder, and soon far too little time. But he will not give up yet.
good that he does not die, you can imagine so, as the series goes on still, but exciting it was still
interesting info from behind the scenes stories are in fact not written (from which I conclude simply that film / TV or Theater non-existent in the world) can be found on the Internet since even a few ... I think they are called myths, but the is rather the exception. Apparently there are mainly for entertainment music.

83rd Traces - Double Check [Traces - offender profile] (Malcolm Rose)

Luke gets the order to take care of a case of possible corruption in a Paarungskommittee. Here he is known to have something against pairing Committee, he tries to figure out if there really someone playing false, and helped a couple has to meet formally, or whether the authorities simply want to test him only.
was the way it still will agree that he case of a boy sentenced to death should check again. In fact, in Luke's world insisted that the investigators make no mistake, but he manages to convince the authorities to make him leave. If the offender is Everton Koht, a friend Owen Goodes, who doubts that Everton is capable of a murder. Although everything is against Everton - he was taken up with blood and full of further traces of the victim just a few meters away from it, and of course, immediately arrested. He says being able to remember anything, so he no longer even properly by his Innocence is convincing.
again entertaining, exciting and interesting information about Luke's world. Every citizen will be monitored at any time, investigators have access to each apartment, and may at any time require fingerprints or other samples, each citizen has an identification card, can be continuously observed by which, when He has stayed out in the rich North and there are so-called Smart Toilets that every time someone goes to the bathroom to examine whether there is evidence of a disease - in which case the person would be immediately sent to the doctor be.

84th Traces - Final Lap [Traces - Sabotage] (Malcolm Rose)

for the International Youth Games (a sort of Olympics) is close to London specially built a new stadium. But a striking number is the wrong building and then disappears without a trace also the organizer so that hatch sent there to determine who is behind the sabotage. That's even more, he can not prevent. Thus, two construction workers fall to their deaths and a swimmer who was allowed to test the pool, is a chemical that has been filled in the basin, severely injured.
Lukes Friend Jade is here again to make one of the party because she was chosen to be the music for the games. But instead to concentrate on, they will be drawn more deeply into the case than she is. When Luke disappears, she manages to persuade Malc, that he has with her a better chance to rediscover him.
also exciting and a great end - as with the Top Secret series of Muchamore, like me here is that the characters just are not invulnerable, just because they are well educated and young.

85th Traces - Blood Brother [Traces - Traces of blood] (Malcolm Rose)

Luke is recovering in hospital from the injuries he has suffered in the last case. In addition, he has always strange headaches, but which he only too happy to push aside as he is reassigned immediately after his release to be determined in the very hospital where he was treated.
The death rate is that is above average, and calculated Luke's real father is one of the main suspects. This must be said that parents get their children after their fifth birthday in Luke's world not usually seen. In rare cases, family members often meet, but traditionally has not. Luke's parents are pleased indeed to see him, but that he must investigate it, they do not, of course, just good. Fortunately, Luke finds
but also other tracks that are promising.

A fitting conclusion to the six-part series. Very nice, as here mentioned this is why Luke has grown so exceptionally large - is in the other books mentioned from time to time, but it is still so important, huh I tte not thought of.

October 86th Death march (Richard Bachman aka Stephen King)

As you all know is, last year broke all the hunger-Games fever. Even my classmates were not spared, and after one of them told me in some detail what happened in the first part so all I have borrowed her first "Battle Royale" and second, like on "Death March" got. The book I've read several times, but so far it has not worn off.
I think that Stephen King is good at it, explore his characters and explore their psyche.

In a totalitarian America, every year the march. The event first 100 young people march up to the end only one remains. No one may go slower than four miles per hour, who is slower, you get a warning. Those who still can not continue after the third warning will be shot by the soldiers who accompany the walkers.
Young men may volunteer for making various entrance tests (physical fitness, mental maturity) and If you are lucky (or unlucky, how does one's), they are selected. Who is the first time on the list, still has a chance to think about it differently, for it is then a waiting list.
Ray Garraty is one of the substitutes. Even before the starting gun is found along a loose cluster of small boys with whom he befriends and then more or less maintains during the march.

It may sound a little boring, after doing nothing more than to put one foot before the other and march, but King manages to make the most consistently exciting. Scattered is of course by anecdotes from her past, telling the boys to each other and the like.
If someone other similar stories - can recommend, step right up 87th with the titles ^ ^

- whether in book or film form Dead girls do not lie (Jay Asher)

One day, Clay receives an anonymous package with 7 cartridges and a map in it. Curious what you want, he sits in the garage, where is still an old cassette player, and sets the first one. Heard
is Hannah Baker, a classmate Clay, who two weeks earlier, suicide. At six and a half of the cassettes it has thirteen stories, thirteen reasons for their actions taken. Anyone with something to do with her suicide in context has to listen to the tape to then free to forward also anonymously to the next on the list. After
in the garage can not be disturbed, Clay borrows to an old Walkman, and migrates deep into the night through the city. He listens to all the tapes and follow a map to the places for Hannah had a specific meaning, are listed.

As readers get set before us in italics what Hannah said, while Clay's thoughts are printed to normal. Every person gets to know you are human and full of errors. I found the book very well, and it must not necessarily to my collection. That's what, what can I read more often.
For Jay Asher's success came as a surprise - he wrote his first book, because it the suicide attempt of a young family very busy. The fact that then - without much advertising - so good, sold and now is available in several other countries, does not surprise me.

88th The Clan of the Wolf (Tue Toft)

Nat wants a dog, and aims to get it. But would like to turn on the puppy, which the owners of the farm when his grandfather took him, everything looks different from a young and cute. He is already quite large, dirty, and has shaggy fur. Nevertheless, there is something in the eyes of the animal, and Nat has the uncomfortable feeling when Woody - the name of the dog - do not take home is something bad to happen.
that Woody turns out to be shape-shifter, it does not take Nat's family. Finally, he had as a young child even a unicorn as invisible friend ... But Woody is one of the king Wolfen. Shapeshifter, which are the most time in wolf form on the road, except at full moon. Then they turn into people. So there are roughly reversed werewolves. Shortly after the discovery
Nats is for him and Woody even dangerous. The fact is cut off from a secret research station and is now wanted by bad companions, no regard absorb losses. Additionally, they can also do it even with werewolves.
Fortunately Nats Grandma Apple from time to time premonitions that will help them. And his mother is not as harmless as the bad guys at first sight.

Most children who have seen the book on the shelf fell on it probably because of the elaborate cover. Here Woody is ready to buy, depending on the perspective as a human and a wolf - which is not a simple WickelWackelBildchen, but you can watch the transformation of fluid. The content is also great, so there should be no disappointments there.
Tues Toft writes funny and exciting, their werewolves are - in werewolf form - (the human form of his well can never take all) is very dangerous and their leader Lucas Scale is a scary a contemporary Nats on the other hand side we have a great family that sticks together no matter what.
Chicken House recommends the book for readers aged 11, though one must say that it is not for the squeamish. In the showdown, it's quite to the point (so a melting werewolf is certainly not a pretty sight, and who has a lot of imagination, it will imagine the worse) would
Who can new items in a reading test. In
Wolven (so the original title) is a trilogy, but you can read the first volume without needing to have a continued need. To me it certainly was completed enough (which does not mean that I do not even read the sequels will still xD)

89th I, Dante, and the millions (Frida Nilsson)

works as one of three co-directors of the Bank, in Helge, retires, Helge takes his place. A great career move, the but nothing but problems entails. First, the new director Helge loses case, the other two have given him extra, then even ten million disappeared from the safe. Helge is the same suspect, landing after a spectacular run to the dump, where he wants to stay at first, until everything has calmed down. There he meets Dante, a rat with which he, according to initial squabbles befriends and shares the apartment.

In itself a nice story that is at times quite funny, but older children could happen here not taken quite seriously when is simplified as the work at the bank represented so insane. Now, I am no one who has books to children any abstruse claims, but reading it seemed to me more often, as if the author simply underestimate their readers.

90th Barnaby Grimes I - Curse of the Night Wolf [Barnaby Grimes I - The Curse of the Werewolf] (Paul Stewart, Chris Riddell)

Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell are simply a class team, and this again with Barnaby Grimes clearly demonstrated.
Barnaby Grimes is a so-called Tick-Tock Lad, one of the kinds of news or articles in a very short time from one to the other Takes place. He learns all parts of the city not only very good but also know from a different perspective, because as one of the best in his profession, Barnaby also dominated the high-stacking - jumping from roof to roof to go over ledges and so on .
One night, Barnaby attacked by a huge dog, he can only kill with happiness. Barnaby is a good friend then disappeared, destroyed his rocking chair, blood spatter in the area. Barnaby begins to investigate a little, and finally comes to Dr. Cadwallader, a doctor, the need for free Dispenses medicine. He wins as a customer, and can gather more evidence that the doctor is somehow related to the huge dogs that have recently been seen frequently in the city. Barnaby Grimes

The books are relatively thin, with only just over 200 pages. There is of course quite a lot of pictures are printed, one is then afloat. But the adventures are definitely worth reading.
It's been well made that the first chapter shows Barnaby in distress, and swirled quickly to the most exciting place in the beginning of the story, so you know in advance that it is still dangerous, but not how exactly does it do so.
is practical in any case you can read the adventures independently, so no conditions order, or all gaps must have.

91st Barnaby Grimes III - Legion of the Dead [Barnaby Grimes III - The Legion of the Dead] (Paul Stewart, Chris Riddell)

growing number of corpses from their graves. The fear of being buried alive, is making sure that rich people can afford a small bell at the grave that in the event that they wake up in the coffin, can ring to call for help.
Barnaby, meanwhile, at the funeral of the absolute boss of all the bands taking part of the city, Firejaw O'Roarke. So far so good. But when he wants to take one night a shortcut through the cemetery, he finds grave Firejaws vacated. Only been stuck since no grave robbers behind, but Firejaw As Barnaby himself but just attacked by a water snake, he is not sure whether he has really seen it all, or whether the poison has only fooled him.
When he recovered, he heard rumors of other deaths and disappeared again begins to investigate. Why are the dead, what they do and who's behind it?

after me very well liked both books, I'll also Volumes II and IV TBD sometime ^ ^

92nd King Cat Mauzenberger (Erwin Moser)

cat king Mauzenberger both in cats and mice very popular. Not only because he has delivered peace between them. Well his birthday is coming up, and the course is to be celebrated. The best birthday so far it should be, but that is not easy. Mauzenberger is dissatisfied. The constant sunshine annoys him, he does not want to paint - and when he does, the picture is a disaster - and in general just everything is so boring.
For his birthday he wants a thunderstorm - what should the inventor Oskar cat with a mouse Rich's possible. The mice work under the baker on a giant cake that will look like the king, and somewhere a horse must be worried.
While all join in the work lies in bed and can Mauzenberger depressed by anything be encouraged. He remembers not even when he stole the crown from the head and replaced with the potty is.
As if all this were not enough power, also a gang of thieves out to loot the treasury, where they support Agathe, the giant found by the use of paper money had become green spider.

I have loved as a child, I love it now still. Erwin Moser I always like to read anyway, but cats Mauzenberger king is and remains my favorite book by him.

93rd As one awakens an elf? (Tanya Stewner)

Twin sisters, and Florentine Pauline grow up among books. The father is a publisher (or works at least in the publishing house) and her mother runs a bookstore. Florentine is regularly read from their favorite book of elves, which also mentions a ritual through which they can see elves, because if she believes in them. This ritual, she has often tried in vain, but when she tried it again, it actually works. A fat little elf (look see cover) whizzes through the air. Her name is Hummelbi, and sinks straight into work. Since all the other elves were getting weaker by degrees, until in a fell asleep, it must also assume their responsibilities.
Florentine Hummelbi holds first secret. Not even Paul tells them this because they constantly quarrel with it now has. But to help Hummelbi, the siblings must work together. They should ensure that more people read again stories about elves. And although about real fairies, fat, funny elves as Hummelbi. Namely what is now often referred to as an elf, pretty, tall, with glitter are really fairies.

A nice book, which, unfortunately, one or the other Manko has.
should be recorded on the plus side of the dispute between the two girls, and how it is resolved. This was credible and had the children seem more realistic. The idea that elves lose their power, because people have forgotten just how real fairies look like, I found funny - anyway I liked Hummelbi and the others.
were less successful, however, the illustrations - the ten year old twins looked like teens and even told me the style rather less. That said, I had also once again the impression that the author underestimates its readers in some places and therefore explains everything very simplistic. Too bad.

94th Honky Tonk Pirates I - the Promised Land (Joachim Masannek)

Berlin in 1760. Will is an orphan, lives with his best friend Jo in the dome of the cathedral. He earns his living by thievery, which he always leaves behind a black wooden ball with a skull on it, because it would be like a pirate. Will he hell dog would call. But the dream seems faded away when he caught one day, and is sentenced to death along with Jo. When they had got out waiting to be hanged, they come with a fellow prisoner - Kahiki Moses - in conversation and somehow manage to convince Baron de Talleyrand, for the time being to be able to survive. This chattering those in power in Berlin, the three criminals, and sailed off with them. On his ship, they have to suffer right - in the sun fry until the skin hanging in shreds, and then there are also gulls, which they consider to treat. All because Will the Baron has stolen an amulet.
Talleyrand at first but after they got rid of that land three in New Nassau, where swarms of pirates, and a second amulet should be hidden, which will lead together with the first one to treasure.
Will see as inexperienced beginners pirates and company against the others, of course, old, and even the Baron is still washed up on shore. Since they can only Honky Tonk Hannah help their pirate character as well. Just stupid, that pirates can not be trusted, even when fighting on the same page. As has

Joachim Masannek indeed committed a crime, "the wild football guys," I was very skeptical. But was pleasantly surprised. Old Berlin with all its inhabitants seems eerily alive and is so described that I had pictures of it directly in the head. The fact that the raids are exaggerated by Will bothers some is not, then the same with master thieves. The Masannek typical, rather ridiculous, cursing are used not as inflationary as the wild guys, but are extremely rare. Most of the people speak somewhat normally.
also part of the pirates will not degenerate into pure nonsense, but has partly realistic and partly just something fantastic. A bit of magic here, a little there to fight ingenious deposits. Just everything what is expected of such a story also
I am all in all like a great - the sequel, which was released at the same time, I still have not read that was not to get a reading copy. is to be filmed
Oh, the book also. In view of the story which is then something like Pirates of the Caribbean for children ^ ^

95th Alabama Moon (W Key)

Moon lives alone with his father in the woods. They both feed mainly on hunting, sleeping in a hole in the ground, take some home-made garments made of leather. Everything because the father is radically opposed to a government - not a specific one, but in general. Of course, he has also been told Moon, how bad is it, and that the government was after them. As Moon's father dies one day to a broken leg - medical care, he refuses - he demands even last that Moon should go to Alaska, where there is supposedly more people like him should be.
After he buried his father, Moon addressed the most important belongings in a wheelbarrow, and sets off. But after a few kilometers, it is picked up by a police officer and - because he physically attacked this quite successfully - for the first time locked in a cell. That makes him less than the police officer believes, because such good food like this, Moon bekamt rarely
After a short flight Moon is finally locked in a reformatory. But even as it holds it for long. Ehrlich, like Moon, he immediately had said that he will not stay long, and comes as a chance, he runs away. And notes with anyone who wegmöchte well. The school bus is stolen, and half the school leaves. Until they arrived at the forest, but most have been so afraid that only go on Moon, Kit and Hal.

A great adventure story for the guys that do not with fantasy, nor do with football a lot. The story is convincing, the main character you like, and even if there are some cliches, but also the other characters fit into the overall picture. I liked also that not everything always goes well and that Moon, so kind and honest he is, in a fight not fair fights, but to win as quickly as possible. Since then also added to ever below the belt.
2009, the book already filmed ( Trailer )
ran the first only at festivals, but I have read my, that he then also made it into the cinemas. And in March, there is then able to get a RC1 DVD.

Sample
As with "Clan of the Wolf" is a loose picture on the cover - in this case, however, smaller and with only two stages. Ulf once as a man once seen as a werewolf.
The story is exciting entertainment for readers from 8 But many at that age could be too scary, and for older people, so from 10 and something else.
There are currently two books in the series, the third released in April.

97th Skulduggery Pleasant V - Mortal Coil (Derek Landy)

to avoid that someone can use their real names to them, this seal can Valkyrie. This is a dangerous business, so she told them no one. That they also could take a little look in their own future, about which she can talk to anyone or wants to ensure that they are of Skulduggery and company retreats slightly.
reflected the way the Irish community magician around with political problems. After the old sanctuary is no longer available, they desperately need a new one, before other countries to interfere too much.
also have to do Skulduggery and Valkyrie with a seemingly invincible assassin who they are to deter a convicted murderer to kill.
And because it's not enough will work hard to come eventually released even the remnants, ghost-like creatures, almost all of which soon people are obsessed, and which cause no good.

have the latest in this band then I completely lost track of who is evil, who is good, who was angry with me, now is good but who was once good but now bad and especially over who would bear the name and doing what and why. Still, he liked me again - I was a little crammed with story that is covered too fast, but otherwise worth reading.
I think I should I get the books easy all myself, I can read them again, and I might then People remember more xD

98th Olive and the House of Shadows (Jacqueline West)

Olive's parents are successful mathematician, constantly busy with research, and have less time for her daughter. Worse is for Olive, that they move very often, so they always need a new start without friends, and adapt constantly to new apartments or houses must.
There are currently summer vacation when it is time again. The old villa where they feed, is Olive from the beginning a bit fishy. Everything is big, dark and creepy. And Then there are the pictures that hang on the walls everywhere and make Olive fear. When the father they want to lose weight for her sake, he must realize that they are so attached to the wall, that is to make nothing.
When her parents even have to go away overnight, Olive explored their new home in more detail. She meets three talking cats, who say they watch over the house. Then she also finds a pair of glasses that allows it to go into the pictures that are distributed throughout the home. But what is more exciting and interesting first revealed at some point to be extremely dangerous, and Olive to be their lives fighting for.

Very exciting fantasy adventure, which also stands out for the scene of action. Everything happens on a very limited space, if one disregards the world in the pictures, not even olive leaves the house.
As I just pointed out, in October of this year announced a sequel, but if someone does not like the compulsion to read more, he can get to know Olive anyway. The book ends as self-contained, that it may as well stand on its own. I certainly did not think after the last sentence "and how it's done now?"
